Microsoft Legal and Corporate Affairs (LCA) is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated paralegal to join our Applications, Services and Dynamics (AS&D) legal team in Bellevue, Washington. Our team serves as part of the broader legal group that provides frontline support to Microsoftâs product and service divisions.

Primary Duties include:
- Provide l! egal and project organizational support for our Bing and Microsoft Advertising legal teams to successfully execute on a dynamic set of fast-paced global expansion initiatives. These include global issues related to content licensing, content moderation, evolving market policies, Bing international infrastructure expansion, and more
- Assist a fast-paced team of clients, CSS agents and legal colleagues in responding to an evolving set of day-to-day Bing content moderation issues
- Provide primary legal support to teamâs clients on Open Source Software issues
- Support the Bing, MSA, AppEx and MSN teams on a variety of projects and issues:
oProvide legal advice to clients and help design creative solutions to complex business, technical, and legal issues
oAdvise clients on a broad range of topics, which may include intellectual pr! operty and licensing, general commercial and consumer law, contract interpretation, and antitrust and regulatory compliance
oPerform legal research and work closely with team attorneys and outside counsel, as needed
oEngage with various levels of Microsoft managers and employees, as well as outside partners, customers, and vendors
oPartner with attorneys and paralegals across the department and around the world to provide comprehensive legal solutions to internal clients
oManage time sensitive projects
We are looking for an experienced paralegal with:
- A minimum of a two year college degree - with a four year degree, paralegal certificate and/or relevant work experience strongly preferred
- At least 5+ years of demonstrated transactional legal work experience strongly preferred
- Strong legal drafting, program management and team organizational skills are a plus
- Outstanding communication, organization and wr! iting skills
- Keen business sense, with the ability to find cre! ative business-oriented solutions to legal issues
- The ability to balance legal risks against business interests
- Strong results orientation with a dedicated client focus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong collaborator with other paralegals and attorneys as part of the broader OSD legal team
- Desire to work with diverse internal groups, teams, divisions, and cultures
- Passion for technology
- Prior experience working for a software technology company is a plus
