To accomplish our mission of providing work opportunities for training Orion's clientele through the fabrication and assembly of a product that meets Orion quality and delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Receive material and product by verifying correct items, quantity, quality and documentation Issue work orders and material to work centers Prepare orders for delivery to customers / subcontracted services Deliver products to Customer and subcontractor as required Work with Program Participants on processing work within delivery requirements and provide feedback. Meet safety and quality system requirements by following established procedures including: Using required personal protective equipment Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner Following safety instructions for materials, equipment (Delivery Trucks and Forklift) and work area Ensuring! all equipment guards, safety switches and controls are in place and functioning Following manufacturing instructions such as work orders Ensuring traceability requirements are met Meeting and documenting inspection requirements Keep work area clean and clear of obstructions Process work within performance and delivery requirements: Meet established productivity standards Follow communicated job priority instructions Communicate production delays and problems to appropriate supervision Teamwork Support all members of the Manufacturing and Orion team fully to achieve company, departmental, and personal goals and objectives Participate in team and company meetings Role model proper work ethics and behaviors Role model proper hygiene and dress
Qualifications: Shipping and receiving experience utilizing various packing, picking and shipping. Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications. Ability to operation company vehicles, posse's valid driver's license, abil! ity to obtain Boeing badge Demonstrated shop math skills. Possess or ac! quire tools needed to accomplish work objective. Organizational ability. Problem solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as collectively. Customer service skills. Able to relate well to all internal and external customers. Possess or acquire a first aid card when course is offered by Orion.
Physical Demands: Physical Demands (movement) STOOPING – Bending body downward and forward. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles. Occasionally – 10 – 20 times per day. KNEELING – Bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees. Seldom. CROUCHING – Bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine. Occasionally. This shift will be 1:30 pm to 10pm Monday – Friday with 1 month of training 7:00am – 3:30pm.
