Financial Services Compliance Officer Duties: Plan, organize, and manage the day-to-day compliance activities for the Program. Ov! ersee and implement risk analysis/ assessment and monitoring related to Program activities. Participate in various committees, audits and examinations. Oversee and develop applicable compliance training. Advise the board of directors, senior management and Company personnel of emerging compliance issues and consult and guide the Company in the establishment of controls to mitigate risks. Coordinate risk assessment and monitoring as applicable of third party service providers' compliance management programs related to the Program. Develop, oversee and implement strategies to achieve goals established for the compliance department. Report to the board of directors, Audit/ Compliance/ Risk Management Committees on Program compliance. Research and communicate emerging regulatory changes. Collaborate with Company legal department on interpretation of emerging regulatory changes. Assist management with compliance questions, research, forms, disclosures, etc. In coordination with ! Company legal department, inform key personnel about changes i! n laws and regulations and their implications for policies and procedures. Develop and/have oversight of Program compliance policies and procedures that ensure compliance with applicable statutes and regulations. Identify potential areas of Program compliance vulnerability and risk; develop/implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues. Interact with senior management, the Board of Directors, attorneys, bank regulators, service providers, consultants on the Program. Consult with the General Counsel as needed to resolve complex legal compliance issues. Provide supervision and oversight in the areas of Consumer Lending, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC, Dodd-Frank, FinCEN and other applicable laws. Ensure Program staff is well trained and knowledgeable on Consumer Protection, Fair Lending, and BSA/AML compliance, including OFAC requirements. Coordinate and oversee an effective Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering/OFAC Compliance Program! that is in line with current industry best practices, regulatory guidance and requirements. Enhance, develop, implement and administer the BSA/AML/OFAC/USA Patriot Act monitoring systems to ensure that appropriate parameters are in place to identify suspicious and/or fraudulent activity. Identify and document fair lending issues, report findings and make recommendations to Legal department and Senior Management. Support Senior Management regarding Fair Lending matters. Conduct periodic Fair Lending Compliance Reviews.

Qualifications: CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) Bachelor's degree required. An MBA, J.D. degree preferred. 7-10 years of experience specifically in bank compliance related positions. Experience with Large bank compliance department, consulting, law firm or examination experience preferred Strong leadership and management experience. Strong knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act. Solid kno! wledge of applicable banking regulations in particular BSA/AML and Lend! ing related regulations and the components of an effective compliance management program. Required personal characteristics include: strong leadership; excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; attention to detail; independent judgment with strong analytical and risk assessment skills; strong business judgment; ability to function in a highly regulated and deadline intensive environment, managing multiple responsibilities while effectively focusing on priority issues; ability to adapt to change; and unquestioned integrity, ethics and values.
