Test Automation Architect [United States]


 Position Summary :
The Test Automation Architect is a key position to Define, Plan and Execute a robust automation Framework to meet the Evernorth Accountable Care (ENAC) Program’s Technology solutions. The program uses the current state Technology architecture and cloud-based solutions and working through an aggressive delivery plan. The hands-on position requires a broad understanding of latest Technology stacks, AWS Cloud based architecture and its components, and Database solutions. The role will act as a guide and mentor for automation resources on the program. This position also handles report and metrics analysis, performance analysis, and support of company policies and procedures as required of management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Design and adopt a robust automation framework and tools to meet the ENAC program technology solutions.
Conduct Code Reviews of the team members and code refactoring on a periodic basis as needed.
Drive value to customers and team members by creating and sharing related functional and IT technical knowledge to support business strategy and goals.
Create CI/CD pipeline for Test Automated scripts, support maintenance and optimization.
Adoption of tools to support Performance, Security testing.
Serve as a point of contact for the Automation Testing on ENAC program deliverables, and communication bridge with all scrum teams in all QA related matters.
Manage complex customer issues, coordinating appropriate technical personnel, defining work plans, deadlines and driving customer communications until customer has confirmed issue resolution
Familiar with Agile Framework (SAFe) process and procedures by the creation and update of user stories, tasks, WIP, and implementation of assigned work efforts
Collaborate with the appropriate departments and/or leadership to develop and maintain Automation Testing strategy that supports customer and business needs.
Good organizational, time management, customer service skills; with the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions to provide timely completion and/or resolution to requests and technical support issues.
Maintain and adhere to security compliance standards; including but not limited to: HIPAA, PII, PCI, SOC, etc.
Identify, develop, and implement continual process improvement opportunities and adoption of new technology and tools for automation development.

Core Competencies:
Agile (SAFe) with SCRUM Methodology and use of JIRA
Design and Review automation code deliveries, specifications, and test plans for health services related testing scenarios.
Devise and document test libraries in Github to be used for automation.
Understand and support AWS components, APIs and relational Databases validations, including automation leveraging CI/CD process.
Implementing automation best practices for product development, deployment Infrastructure and Docker container management.
Good understanding of Cloud Infrastructure to build Automation.
Experience in creating robust automation solutions for React Native web pages with backend interactions in Cloud platforms.
Ability to manage independently, and as part of a team, to achieve deadlines for multiple tasks.
Strong personal planning and organizational skills
Conflict management and Problem Solving
Willingness to learn new things and develop knowledge/understanding.
Mentor junior resources to scale up and deliver as per Business timelines and commitments.

Requirements:
Bachelor degree w/experience in Computer Science and/or Information Technology
8+ Years’ experience in working on Automation Frameworks, Integrated testing, Automation Tools and/or technical support preferably in the Healthcare Industry
5 + years Coding experience in Java, C++ or similar Object-Oriented Languages
Strong customer and team leadership focus
Strong innovation and problem resolution skills
Drive for self-development and service improvement
High Integrity, ethics and values.
