PRIMARY

OBJECTIVE:
The primary objective of the Data Processing Intern is to accurately
and efficiently interpret, verify and enter data into our database systems. This
position is respons! ible to complete a large volume of variable work with a high degree of accuracy. It is equal parts data entry, data analysis and Internet
research. This role is responsible to research information on a large variety
of websites to ensure data accuracy. The position is a full-time, short-term,
summer internship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist
with compiling and updating attorney names and addresses in Excel or FileMaker
Pro

Complete project assignments in a
manner that meets deadlines and specifications.

Resolves errors to ensure integrity of
data

Complete web research

Conduct firm research to confirm firm
data and firm data cleanup

Take on special projects as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
High School
Diploma and currently attending college

Experience:
Entering data
into spreadsheets or databases.

Knowledge:
Proficient
with database systems, spreadsheets and data processing tasks.

Proficient
with Internet research.

Proficient
with Microsoft Excel.

Experience
with FileMaker Pro a plus.

Skills:
Inquisitiveness:
This person needs to
be able to identify problems in the data and then through research and
telephone contact, update the information accurately.

Communication
:

Good communication skills with
co-workers, manag! ement in Seattle and Minnesota and occasionally with attorneys
is important. The position requires good telephone and fair written
communication skills.

Organization

:

The position requires a high
attention to detail, good organization and time management skills. The
individual needs to monitor the incoming data flow and adjust priorities to
ensure entry deadlines are met.
