Lee & Hayes pllc, an internationally known intellectual property and business law firm, recently recognized for its excellence in patent quality for the 4th consecutive year by IAM Magaz! ine, is seeking a patent paralegal for our office located in Spokane, WA. This position involves assisting attorneys with the following tasks: preparing and filing documents with the USPTO including provisional and non-provisional applications, scheduling disclosure meetings and examiner interviews; drafting legal correspondence including general client correspondence, fee agreements, search reports, correspondence to the USPTO; tracking attorney bar dates, file-by dates, and dockets; general time/work management; and other administrative/clerical duties as assigned by the attorneys. We seek applicants who are accurate, detailed, organized, articulate, service-oriented and flexible. Strong computer skills essential with solid knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook required. Prior experience as a legal assistant and/or paralegal is also required. Experience in intellectual property a plus.
