Routh Crabtree Olsen, P.S. , an industry leading specialty law firm located in Bellevue, is currently looking for a Billing Supervisor .
RCO ! specializes in the representation of financial institutions, substantial investors, title insurers, housing authorities and select businesses in all matters related to licensing, servicing, mortgage banking, consumer finance, special credits, title insurance, real estate finance, and the enforcement of mortgage loans.
This Billing Supervisor will be dedicated to our Payoff and Reinstatement team. They will assist the law firm and the firm’s clients in transforming a delinquent loan into a performing asset when possible.
Responsibilities:
Supervise staff as they prepare payoff and reinstatement letters Manage large volume of client requests for reporting of attorney fee estimates, while adhering to client imposed deadlines. Coordinate and manage receipt of payoff and reinstatement fund Verify funds received from the customer were applied correctly as part of a reinstatement or payoff of the loan. Compare those funds received to the debt stateme! nt quoted to the customer to determine if he/she sufficiently ! paid to reinstate or pay off the loan. Verify the fees and costs charged by the attorney on final bill. Perform a financial review of the fees and costs assessed to the loan to determine if any funds are due the customer. Under moderate supervision, develop and assist in the development of initiatives within various departments within the division. Define and prioritize project activities; Clarify and document processes, policies and procedures; Report on project progress; Prepare project staffing/resource plan Other duties as assigned by management
Skills and requirements:
BA in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience 5+ years experience in mortgage cash application Experience in mortgage banking Must be proficient in MS Office, intermediate or advanced Excel is a must and strong overall technological skills Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management Ability to problem solve and multi task effectively Supervisory experience ! required Strong analytical skills Understanding of write-off processing Understanding of mortgage pay-off processing with focus on default liquidations is a plus
