JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the Director of COmpliance, this position is responsible for addressing and resolving escalated debtor calls to collect payments and settle accounts. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts (Federal Debt Collections Practices Act), practices and procedures within the collections field. Relies on pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
Essential duties
- Ability to live RPM culture: Being a good student and demonstrating good character and to operate with integrity.
- Resolve escalated calls transferred from call center
- Document complaints & updates logs
- Properly notate debtor accounts with attorneys, disputes, fraud, etc
- Review and prepare requests for refunds
- Pull all debtor recordings
- Update complaint invalid transfer log
Job Requirements
- Excellent Attendance
- Basic typing & 10 key skills
- One year collections experience (preferred)
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Must be able to multitask
- Ability to deal with difficult or upset customers
- Exc ellent attention to detail
- Problem Solving skills
