State and Local Tax Manager, Income Franchise The candidate should Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. Master of Scienc! e in Taxation, J.D. degree with Accounting or Tax, or Master of Law in Taxation preferred. Certified Public Accountant, Enrolled Agent or Membership of the Bar required.
Must have 5+ years of experience. Should have thorough knowledge of a variety of state and local tax laws, including multi-state income tax planning, compliance, preparing returns, income tax accounting, controversies, restructuring, due diligence and audit defense. Comprehensive technical skills, including FAS 109, MS Excel modeling, unitary filing, apportionment methodologies, tax base rules, tax research, compliance and consulting as it relates to multi-state jurisdictions preferred.
