Regulatory Attorney

Description: Quorum Review IRB is currently seeking to employ Regulatory Attorney right now, this job will be situated in Washington. Detailed specification about this job opportunity kindly read the description below. Duties & Responsibilities:
Advises the IRB/REB members and staff regarding the interpretation of federal, state, and provincial laws, regulations, and guidance.
Responsible ! for responding to board member and staff inquiries regarding legal or regulatory issues, such as conflict of interest, recruitment practices, state and provincial law requirements, HIPAA requirements, etc.
Participates in pre-review negotiations with sites and sponsors, when appropriate.
Provides input regarding revisions to forms, office procedures, and Board guidelines.
Provides input related to audits, when appropriate.
Reviews contracts, including service agreements and confidentiality agreements.
Reviews and revises selected outgoing correspondence.
Recommends revisions to Board guidelines, procedures, and consent form language based on federal, state and provincial laws, regulations, and guidance.

Position requires occasional travel
Education:
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
Experience:
3 â€" 5 years of practice in health law and relat! ed regulatory experience.
