Zenith American Solutions is seeking a talented Account Manager for the Client Services group in our office in Spokane, Washington.
Responsibilities include managi! ng client service functions for assigned clients including administration, retention, revenue analysis and profitability. The position is also responsible for overseeing client specific regulatory compliance as well as possibly marketing for new business development. Specific duties include:
Initiates sales and marketing activities. Responds to RFPâs for new business development and implements regional marketing strategies, plans and goals.
Implements client requirements and changes in benefit programs.
Facilitates client meetings, including meeting agenda preparation, report generation, and follow-up.
Reviews and approves client financial statements, Summary Plan Descriptions, benefit communications and other client documents.
Monitors revenue, expenses and profitablity of clients to insure financial goals are met. Recommends and obtains client fee increases, and prepares contracts and amendments.
Maintains communications and effective workin! g relationships with clients, and responds to requests from cl! ients, government agencies, unions, participants, attorneys, and consultants.
Oversees internal systems, policies and procedures to insure operations are in compliance with client needs, new developments, regulations, and reporting requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of account management experience in employee benefit plans.
Strong knowledge of self-administered plans and related regulations (ERISA, HIPAA).
Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills.
Proficient pc skills including Word and Excel; PowerPoint skills a plus.
Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
The ideal candidate will have prior Health & Welfare experience and the right blend of technical and relationship skills to deliver a level of service that consistently meets or exceeds client expectations. Prior! multi-employer and Taft-Hartley trust fund experience preferred. Occasional travel is required.
