Friendly lawyer dad and kind school counselor mom looking for Tuesday and Thursday Mary Poppins, to nanny our two rambunctious, curious, inquisitive, creative and hilarious children. Our daughter will be 4 years old in October, while our son is 2 and a half. While no magic is required (but welcome!), duties involve caring for the kids in the morning, preparing and transporting them to and from school in the morning, lunch, nap time, read, play, learn, facilitate art projects, trips to parks, museum, zoo, library. May be asked to do some light cleaning around the home and run some errands, while kids are in school from, 8:40 to 11:10.
Help needed Tuesdays/Thursdays, from 7 a.m. -5 p.m. Mom commutes to Sumner to work at an elementary school and dad runs his practice in Tacoma. We will follow the Sumner School District School schedule. While the schedule is fairly set, some flexibility will be needed to meet work demands, meetings and traffic delays.
Some requirements:
- Must be a loving, energetic person with experience caring for young children.
- Must feel comfortable maintaining a structured environment with clear behavior expectations and appropriate responses to typical behavioral issues that surface with young children. Experience with love and logic helpful.
- A valid driver's license and insurance, no history of automobile accidents.
- Background check will be conducted.
- Schedule flexibility.
- Bilingual and/or musical talent welcome.
