As a Senior Construction Loan Administrator you will provides administrative management for our home builder loan portfolio assigned to Housing Capital Company ("HCC") ! a division of U.S. Bank, in accordance with HCC/U.S. In this r! ole we have bank policy and procedure requirements for the management of the home builder loan portfolio.

Other responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and collecting all required due diligence items, reviewing and/or negotiating construction loan documents, perfecting the bank's interest, and providing administrative management of loan portfolios from the time the loans are approved until pay-off or maturity.
• Analyzing title insurance commitment reports including title exceptions, and prepares title/escrow instructions.
• Reviewing insurance certificates to ensure compliance with bank requirements, and maintain files with sufficient documentation for third-party review and prepares files for timely audits.
• Analyzing and reconciling construction draw requests including recommending approval of the funding of draws and obtaining all additional approvals required.
• You will take action on items affecting the disbursem! ent process such as change orders, sufficiency of funds, liens, set asides, restricted starts, loan in balance related issues, etc.
• Lastly, you will work in partnership with Relationship Managers as primary liaison with customers, attorneys, inspectors and title company representatives, during all phases of financing.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Five to seven years of experience in commercial real estate loan administration

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Considerable knowledge of commercial real estate lending including letters of credit, tax credit transactions, borrowing base lending, multi-phased construction, and transactions secured by multiple collateral properties
• Strong technical expertise in closing and administration functions
• Demonstrated ability to close commercial real estate loans and adminis! ter a commercial real estate loan portfolio
• Advanced knowledge! of commercial real estate finance, law, documentation, accounting and data systems
• Bachelor's degree preferred
