Litigation Paralegal

Location: Seattle, Washington

Description: Matura Farrington Staffing Services, Inc. is looking of Litigation Paralegal right now, this career will be depute in Washington. More details about this career opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. International Law firm is seeking a mid to senior level litigation paralegal for their Seattle office. Ideal candidate must have at least 6 to 10 years of experience in large envir! onmental litigation cases. Knowledge of asbestos law is a huge plus. This is a great position for a paralegal to work closely with a great group of attorneys and gain additional knowledge in asbestos law. This litigation paralegal position will involve heavy trial work while being able to learn and utilize various database programs.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and reviewing case files, discovery and trial documents in all phases of case management

Reviewing and outlining depositions; indexing, summarizing, and coding of documents
Assisting in filing of pleadings with the court, state as well as federal

• Organizing and maintaining attorney trial notebooks, witness notebooks, document indices and lists.
• Maintaining and managing databases
• Maintaining and managing a busy calendar
• Paralegal Certificate highly desired â€" compliance with Business & Professional Code 6450 is a must
Bachelor Degree is preferred

• Must have a minimu! m 6 to 10 years of paralegal litigation experience working on complex litigation matters and trial preparation work
• Requires strong knowledge in Concordance, LiveNote, CaseMap and proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Represents basic qualifications for this litigation paralegal position. To be considered for this position you must at least meet the basic qualifications.
