This position will assist attorneys who represent f! inancial institutions in all aspects of commercial and real estate financing transactions. Duties include responsibility for conducting searches for liens, corporate existence, and bankruptcy and making state and county lien filings. Drafting legal documents such as guaranties, indemnities, authorizing resolutions, closing certificates, and closing checklists. Management of transaction closings and preparing closing sets will also be required. Candidate will work closely with clients and opposing counsel on transactions. This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, with highly-developed critical thinking skills and the ability to manage multiple details and prioritize assignments. Proficiency in title and survey review a plus. Requires a 4 year degree and 2+ years’ experience as a commercial lending, corporate or real estate paralegal, or equivalent experience.
