These positions help to align technology solutions to the business needs of legal and compliance teams. Positions in this function are involved in the definition, management, and implementation of significant technology focused projects to support corporate legal departments. Positions are specialists in project management with experience in legal and compliance techno! logy that manage, direct and interface with attorneys and othe! r legal professionals.
Primary Responsibilities:
Managing technology solutions related to legal and compliance
Responsible for multiple projects simultaneously
Working directly with attorneys and other legal professionals to document their processes, priorities and needs
Developing project work plans and manage communication
Anticipating issues and acting proactively to address potential issues
Gathering and updating project materials, completing budgeting, forecasting, project documentation, business flows, and lessons learned documents
Speaking to details of the project to both the business and technical teams from beginning to end of all projects
Utilizing organizational resources appropriately
Management of key projects to ensure successful completion
Managing cross-functional interdependencies
Improving processes to optimize performance and value over time
Providing risk management and issue/problem resolu! tion as required
Develops innovative approaches
Professional Qualifications:
5+ years project management experience
3+ years of technology experience at a law firm or in a corporate law department
Superior communication skills and customer service approach
Experience with formal project management tools
Working knowledge of Information Technology security standards, protocols and tools
Bachelors Degree
