Prepares, files, and prosecutes patent applications directed to software, computer systems, and other information technology. Provides advice and recommendations on patent, copyright or trademark issues. Compl! etes routine intellectual property related assignments and projects. Assists with intellectual property legal transactions and litigation.
Researches, analyzes and evaluates patents for more experienced attorneys. Composes and reviews standard legal documents (e.g., patent, copyright and trademark filings, licensing and research agreements, intellectual property portions of contracts and agreements) and correspondence. Admitted to state bar and to practice before USPTO. BSEE or BSCS required.
