Job Purpose: To recruit, hire and schedule an individually selected care team to provide quality in-home care services in residences, assisted livings and other communities/facilities. To assist manage! rs by screening, interviewing, and follow-up on new hires during the 90 day probationary period. In addition, responsible to adhere to Washington Administrative Code and Department of Health mandated requirements for in-home care agencies for all aspects of recruiting, hiring, and maintaining an active care team which includes being audit ready at all times.
Primary location: Local office
Duties:
- Helps managers hiring employees by screening, interviewing, and testing candidates.
- Orients new employees by providing information and direction; answering questions.
- Tracks new employee acceptability by preparing and forwarding 30-, 60-, and 90-day probationary reviews. Responsible to insure that all care team members have annual credentialing compliance and educational compliance.
- Supports new employees by resolving problems.
- Provides reports by retrieving data from Recruiting, Scheduling/HR database! ; setting-up special queries..
- Avoids legal challenge! s by complying with legal requirements and Department of Health standards; reminding managers and employees alike.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; must be willing to comply with all certifications required.
- Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Works on call rotation with office staff and owners during the week or on weekends.
- May provide transportation to clients and/or employees when needed.
