They have a full-time opportunity at the Bellevue branch (located in Bellevue, WA) for a Loan Funder level 2 or 3.
Purpose of Position:
Prepare and submit loan closing packages, ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations, investor requirements, and insuring and guarantee functions as applicable. Prepare closing documents, and ensure compliance and accuracy through disbursement. Essential Requirements/Duties of this Position include the Ability to: Draw closing documents, issue closing funds and review closed loan packages to ensure completeness of loan documentation. Review preliminary title report to identify items to be excluded, and any necessary endorsements. Interface with processors and/or loan officers regarding loan program requirements and preparation necessary for closing; provide appropriate parties with closing status. Ensure adherence to, and compliance with insuring/guaranty requirements and documentation. Obtain all outstanding conditions of loan approval. Review estimated HUD-1 for company, investor, and FHA/VA compliance. Obtain Closing Protection Letters and wiring instructions. Re-verify employment at closing. Submit Banking Package to Finance within established company timeframes. Scan file into company archive within established company timeframes, to ensure timely delivery of loan files to investors. Obtain recording information and input same into system. Promptly obtain any documentation requested by investors or insuring/guaranty post-closing. Solve problems, communicate, and work well under pressure. To assure at all times compliance with all regulatory and governmental standards, guidelines, rules and regulations, and the applicable state regulatory authorities, and any applicable federal, state, and/or local ordinances, administrative regulations and statutes. To assure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures. Any other reasonable duties required by the company to be performed by loan funder.
Skills:
Level 2 Loan Funder Three or more years recent experience closing Conventional, FHA and VA loans. Able to work with minimal supervision. This position is classified as non-exempt. Level 3 Loan Funder Five or more years recent experience closing Conventional, FHA, VA, and Bond loans. Experience with exhibits/documentation required for new construction. Able to identify documentation necessary for perfecting title; familiar with requirements for use of Powers-of-Attorney. This position is classified as non-exempt.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Computer skills are required, including proficiency with internet searches, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
