The director of director, Business Transformation – Data, Analytics, Insights & Business Operations (DAIBO) will be responsible for driving strategic growth and change within the DAIBO organization, a functional area of rapid growth for Starbucks. You will lead the Business Operations function for the DAIBO organization focused on support the organizational vision, working with the leadership team to craft the multi-year organizational strategy, and serving as the change management and communication hub for the function. You will lead the portfolio management and PMO functions for the org, focused on project delivery, agile methodology, prioritization, business planning, and budgeting. You will drive DAIBO strategic priorities, including a data modernization strategy, by working cross-functionally and with senior leaders. You will partner with business strategy and operations leaders across the Starbucks enterprise, operationalizing and localizing major change initiatives for Starbucks. - Serve as an internal consultant for the DAIBO Leadership Team, identifying strategic priorities and opportunities to deliver business value
- Support and enable the DAIBO organization by delivering world class business operations processes and approaches
- Lead the DAIBO PMO and portfolio management functions, enabling leaders and partners to plan, prioritize and deliver their work
- Lead strategic and organizational storytelling and communications for the DAIBO organization, with an emphasis on executive-facing communications
- Facilitate change in an inclusive way, bringing leaders and partners along as you develop processes and policies that support our culture, optimize our way of work, and amplify the impact of DAIBO across Starbucks
- Drive programming for internal DAIBO culture and communications
- Develop, operationalize and deliver a data modernization strategy for Starbucks
We’d love to hear from people with:
- 7+ years progressive experience in business process design and implementation for a function within a large, global company
- Budgeting, planning and managing projects and programs of over $1 million in scope
- Business system and process development
- Supervision of large, diverse work groups
- Working across organizational boundaries at all levels, including executive positions
The pay range for this position may be narrower than that displayed, depending on where the work is performed.
