The Deputy I represents the interest of the State of Washington, as guided by the Supervisor, in routine criminal and juvenile legal actions commencing with the pr e-filing, investigative sage and continuing through the post-filing litigation process, including probation review hearings. Primary caseload will be in the District Court division handling a trial caseload of adult misdemeanor/gross misdemeanor cases.
Trail experience in District or Municipal Court is preferred for this assignment.

Trial experience in criminal law is desirable, but not necessary.
Background Check must meet Elected Prosecutor's criteria.
Required
to successfully complete all continuing legal education requirements as
mandated by the Washington State Bar Association, which includes 13 hours
general and 2 hours of ethics credits per year throughout employment.
Must have a driving record that meets County standards and possess a valid driver"s license at time of hire and throughout employment.
Salary: Unrepresented Resolution
Deputy I - Range: 330
Salary range: $5,138 - $7,029 per month
