The Litigation team in Legal and Corporate Affairs is seeking an eDiscovery Program Manager in Redmond, WA to support Microsoftâs electronic discovery and document retention processes.
Responsibilities:
- Support in-house and outside counsel in discovery and investigative matters.
- Manage and execute In-place Preservation and Data Minimization Efforts for assign! ed matters:
oRemediate corrupt, encrypted, or otherwise inaccessible content;
oPartner with counsel to scope and apply search queries/data filters;
oBatch and export potentially relevant material for attorney review;
oMaintain detailed tracking logs and statistics regarding throughput.
- Coordinate Early Case Assessment projects with in-house and outside counsel.
- Troubleshoot blocking issues in both Microsoft and 3rd party eDiscovery software.
- Design & implement workarounds in existing processes when solutions do not perform as expected.
- Manage vendors and contingent staff involved in the eDiscovery processes.
- Evaluate and demo both Microsoft and 3rd party eDiscovery solutions.
- Manage the import processes for local .pst files from creation of eDiscovery mailboxes, uploading content to same and moving mailboxes to the cloud.
- Keep current with trends and functionalities in 3r! d party eDiscovery platforms;
- Cross train for proficiency in all internal Litigation Document Retention Database capabilities.
- Four-year college degree;
- Experience and/or familiarity with using the eDiscovery capabilities in the SharePoint 2013 eDiscovery Center or at least 3 years of direct experience with common eDiscovery processing platforms (e.g., Nuix, Clearwell, Recommind, etc.) - Clearwell certification and Relativity experience strongly preferred;
- General familiarity with the litigation support ecosystem - both tools and vendors;
- General familiarity with SQL, dtSearch, Lucene, and Boolean queries;
- Strong analytical and technical skills;
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced e! nvironment, and able to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines; !
- Strong Microsoft platform proficiency - especially Exchange, SharePoint, and Office.
