Family Law CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of King County is seeking an Advocate Supervisor to support, advise and guide our volunteer advocates through cases involving contested custody cases. 
 Job Skills & Duties:
 Manage 25-35 cases from appointment to trial; ensure advocates receive needed information, manage timelines and aderence to due dates. 
 Advise & guide volunteer advocates as they investigate and report to the c!   ourt about best interests of children in high-conflict custody!    disputes 
 Strong assessment, communication, writing and organizational skills essential 
 Must be able to interact positively with volunteers including teaching portions of our orientation training 
 Must be able to manage caseload with multiple court deadlines and have working knowledge about the dynamics of poverty, domestic violence, substance abuse, and or mental health issues 
 Experience, Requirements & Preferences:
 Masters Level Social Worker or WA State Licensed Attorney experienced working with low income families and children in conflict or crisis 
 Experience working with unpaid volunteers on difficult and long-term projects, maintaining a positive working relationship while ensuring deadlines are met 
 Must be able to manage caseload with multiple court deadlines 
 Working knowledge about the dynamics of poverty, domestic violence, substance abuse, and or mental health issues 
 Familiarity with!    the court system and family law is helpful 
 Strong assessment, communication, writing and organizational skills essential 
 Knowledge of local community resources/services helpful 
 Team player â" able to work in a small office with a cohesive team 
 Must be able to interact positively with volunteers including teaching portions of our orientation training 
 Salary & Benefits: Salary range of $40,000-45,000 depending upon experience. Health & dental insurance, bus pass, paid sick & vacation leave; paid holidays and positive work environment provided.
